This was a huge upgrade from my basic no screen radio to now having wireless Apple CarPlay and a backup camera. It makes my car look 10 years newer. I am not experienced with wiring but I was able to successfully install it all myself without any issues.

Was looking for a touchscreen/carplay radio. There are so many options but I decided on Dynavin due to the in depth reviews on the forums and that its compatible with the Harman kardon. I’m glad I got it. I love this unit and happy that I can finally link my iPhone to hear my music.
I have a 2005 GT, and the Shaker stereo was dated even back then. Thankfully, Dynavin's solution retains an OEM look while bringing the in-dash tech into the present. Installing the D8-MST2005 Plus is easy; disassembling the stock stereo is a pain. A couple of the clips holding together the various wire harnesses require you to get into an awkward angle while fitting your hands into tight spaces. It can be done, but get ready to be a little frustrated with Ford's engineering. Once the stereo faceplate is out, the climate controls and info/hazard buttons pop out easily. Everything effortlessly slots back into place on the D8-MST2005 Plus. I prefer a bare-bones install, so I skipped the microphone, Sirius radio, and rear cameras. Keep in mind you'll need to change some system settings in the D8-MST2005 to keep the new stereo from attempting to access the camera when putting the car in reverse. Since I have a 2005 Mustang, I did have to connect one of the cables called out in the troubleshooting guide, but I did not have to worry about the illumination wire. The system buttons lit up without it. I believe that the subwoofers in my car do not work (bought it used this past week with only 60k miles, but there's zero output from the speakers). Regardless, I did not use the MID wire, because the base audio connector was making contact with the metal frame, causing feedback. No audio issues were detected when I fired up a few tracks with heavy bass. Everything worked perfectly! Over the years, I've swapped out many stereos, and Dynavin has been the easiest. No splicing, din rains, or third-party parts to worry about. It just works!

Received unit was packaged. Took some time to know the parts and watched the Mercedes w211 video like 10 times so took on the install and with Chris in customer arm d help and patience, I was able To get in and working after a day of careful work. Still learning unit but really love how it can be used…especially with video apps like Uoutube and Fubo (for passengers of course lol). Dynavin 8 well worth the cost!
